Is the new HONDA Rebel 250 renaissance of the custom scene in Japan?

The first Rebel was born in 1985. The highest period of motorcycle boom in Japan. Low and Long style Rebel was a huge hit to bring American style more popular in Japan. Sales ended in Japan in 1999 but production continued in the US till 2016.

Now the new Rebel was revealed in California, HONDA is ready again to take over cruiser market. Its Japanese version Rebel 250 is coming to roads of Japan very soon.

RIDING POSITION (Test Rider's Height 175cm, Weight 64kg)

Categorized as cruiser but riding position is comfortable as naked motorcycles. Handle bar and foot pegs are located at natural position for rider. Seat height is low enough for any rider to put foot on ground while at stop.

This concept Rebel 250 was created to approach younger generations (Under 30yrs) to propose to enjoy life style with Rebel with individual needs. Rear seat and passenger pegs are easily removable to custom the motorcycle. Steel rear fender and Aluminum casting headlight ring is equipped to add more style. Valve timing of the engine is changed to increase power at lower rpm but maintaining the pleasure of higher rpm as well. Styled and refined to meet daily use requirement adding more fun elements.
